Some late breaking news:
It appears Hallelujah has not been picked up for the fall season.
I'm not 100% sure this is definite but it seemed worth reporting.
Source: Television Without Pity

Here's a little tidbit about Hallelujah:
ABC
Assured to get series orders are early frontrunners GOOD CHRISTIAN BITCHES and CHARLIE'S ANGELS, along with the modern fairy tale ONCE UPON A TIME. Shonda Rhimes' PR drama SCANDAL looks solid, with one or both of PAN AM and procedural IDENTITY also expected to get a green light. Thriller THE RIVER is rumored for an order, though it's unclear if it will be a regular or limited-series one. Other possibilities on the drama side include the Hamptons-set REVENGE, which has been gathering momentum, and Marc Cherry's HALLELUJAH, possibly for midseason with some retooling, while 1840s detective show POE has been fading.

March 9, 2011
Breaking news:
Terry O`Quinn is heading back to ABC in Hallelujah, and hourlong pilot from Desperate Housewives duo Marc Cherry and Sabrina Wind.
The project — billed as a drama with musical elements — is set in the town of Hallelujah, Tenn., which is being torn apart by the forces of good and evil and whose fortunes change when a stranger (Law & Order‘s Jesse L. Martin) comes to town, bringing justice, peace and possibly restoring faith.
O’Quinn will play the show’s main villain Del, a charming yet wholly corrupt local millionaire who virtually owns the town. The cast also includes Cashmere Mafia‘s Frances O’Connor.

A fan question that gives some insight into Terry's future plans.

Hello Terry,
I can't believe that it's almost time for Lost again! I was sure in May that I would never make it through another hiatus!! Now it's almost here though, and I'm sorta freaking out that it's the final season. It's going to be so bittersweet the ending, no matter what happens. Lost has been such a trip all the way from the beginning. I just wanted to thank you and the rest of the cast and crew for the five seasons we've had so far, and for the sixth we'll be getting soon.

My question is about what will happen after Lost. Do you have any plans yet? Would you prefer to work in tv, movies or on stage after this? Do you have a preference as to what you love to work with?

~Mona

Thanks Mona,
I hope you enjoy season six. It's bittersweet for us, too.

Yes I have post LOST plans. I'd prefer television and, yes, I do have a preference as to whom I'd like to work with. Hopefully all that will work out.
